• The role of Solomon Perel in the movie _Hitlerjunge Salomon (1990)_ was supposed to be played my Marco's brother René Hofschneider but when production was delayed by finances until 1989, Rene was too old and Marco got the role. Rene played Solomon's older brother Isaak.
